8pm |Friday 10th November
Orwells ’84 have created a sound of post pop psychedelia washed with influences from the roots of blues with a reverb laden backdrop. Since their formation they have showed a swagger and confidence in both the style and deliverance of music on stage and in recordings. Shed are an evil gospel band for anyone who ever listend to a hymn and thought, “That could do with a kick up the hole”. An unholy and irreverant mix of influences from old time folk legends like Stompin Tom Connors and Johnny Horton, to punk and metal greats like Primus, Tom Waits, and Drop Kick Murphys.
