Deleyaman & Jules Maxwell ~ The Spirit Store Thursday 11th October

Although they are based less than an hour from each other in Northern France it was only recently that mutual friend Brendan Perry, singer from Dead Can Dance, introduced them to one another. Subsequently Deleyaman became regulars at Le Relais, a monthly gig which Jules set up at Noyelles sur Mer in the Baie de Somme. The show will be a fertile mix of Maxwell’s piano based balladeering and Deleyaman’s sophisticated French post-punk minimalism.
