Daniel McNamee established his bakery in Crossmaglen in September 1939. His aim was to produce the finest breads using a family recipe that was unique for its use of 100% pure, fresh Irish Buttermilk and a special blend of flours. Three generations later and the McNamee family are still producing its famous artisan breads to that same recipe from the same bakery in the town square. They have a wide range of tasty healthy breads. The home baked taste of the each of our loaves is still rich in fibre and full of the goodness of Irish wheat. Our wheaten breads not only taste great, but are also low in fat and low in sugar.
