    June Events

    Dundalk library

    Dundalk Library is a hive of activity throughout June with the following events, open to all:

      • Artisan’s Exhibition: An art exhibition by the local Artisans group from Tuesday June 12th until Friday June 22nd
      • Launch of Summer Reading Program: Friday June 15th at 11.30am for invited school audience.
      • Rhythm Rhymers: Pre-Instrumental Music Workshop taking place on Saturday June 23rd at 11am. Suitable for children aged 3-5, places are limited so booking is essential.
      • “Celebration”: An art exhibition by Ladywell Day Centre showcasing a number of different techniques including acrylic painting, lino painting & silk painting. Running from Tuesday June 26th until Saturday June 30th.
      • Fostering First Information Session: Taking place on Tuesday June 26th from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.
      • Emer Lawless Book Launch: Taking place Thursday June 28th at 6.00pm.
      • Summer Storytelling: Taking place Saturday June 30th at 11.30am. Suitable for children aged 3-7.

        Ongoing Events at Dundalk Branch Library

      • Irish Language Group: Intermediate level – Every Tuesday at 4pm.
      • Georgie Porgie Tots Corner, Parent & Toddler Group: Every Thursday @ 10am.
      • Adult Book Clubs – Rediscover the joy of reading and discuss your views with others. Please ask at desk for details
      • Baby Book Club – Explore the benefits of reading to your baby from an early age. Takes place on the second Friday of every month at 11.00am
      • WiFi Access is available to current Library members. Renew your Library membership today and avail of free WiFi in Dundalk, Drogheda and Ardee Libraries as well as several hot spots in Dundalk Town Centre. Ask at issue desk for registration details and PIN no.
      • Computer Classes for groups. If you are interested in updating your computer skills please phone Dundalk Library on 042-9353190 for further details. Free classes run throughout the year.
