Dundalk Theatre Workshop are celebrating their 40th anniversary with a number of productions in 2017, and what better way to start with Oscar Wilde’s classic ‘serious’ comedy. Directed by Fergus Mullen and featuring a cast of exciting newcomers and workshop regulars it promises to be one of the theatrical highlights of the year. ‘A timeless comedy in which the protagonists maintain fictitious persona to escape burdensome social obligations with hilarious consequences. Will such trumpery triumph?
