A few clear notes about the information you find here, the services we link to and how to help us keep Dundalk’s story accurate and welcoming.
Prepared & reviewed · 17 October 2026A starting point for a great visit.
This site brings together visitor information, things to do, town stories and practical resources for Dundalk’s business community. You can browse without an account, save ideas on your own browser and contact the Tourist Office or BID for help.
The main business promotion focuses on the BID district. Wider-area attractions and walks add context to a Dundalk visit and are labelled separately. A directory entry, map position or news mention is not a certification of BID membership or service quality.
Our accessibility and inclusion page explains reading choices and support. Our privacy notice explains local storage and external connections.
Check the detail before you commit.
Opening hours, menus, prices, availability, accessibility arrangements and contact details can change. Confirm what matters to your plans with the relevant business or organiser, especially before travelling or booking.
Individual event and booking links open the organiser’s service in a new tab. Any purchase, reservation, cancellation or payment is handled under that provider’s own terms. We do not sell tickets or take payment through this website.
News articles link to their original sources and retain source dates. A proposal is different from an approved or completed project; an archived event is different from a current listing. For consultation documents, grant eligibility or formal decisions, use the relevant official notice.
A plan that fits your day.
Maps and walking times help you plan; they are not a live access survey or turn-by-turn navigation service. Some map markers are approximate. Follow current signs, public access arrangements and the advice of the relevant venue or route authority.
Town mural trails describe an order of public stops. Outdoor walks in the Cooleys, Ravensdale and Slieve Gullion have separate terrain, weather and access considerations. Read their route sources and choose an outing suitable for your group.
For physical accessibility, ask about the entrance, facilities and route you intend to use. Dundalk Tourist Office can help you find information for a more comfortable visit.
Good stories deserve proper credit.
Photographs, illustrations, maps, logos and source material can have different owners and licences. Check the credit and linked licence for the particular item before reusing it; appearing on this website does not make every image free to copy.
Licensed historical-place images retain their published author and licence credits. Editorial illustrations and AI-assisted historical reconstructions are labelled where used and should not be mistaken for records of actual events or exact historical appearances.
EPSO’s full mural stories and artist information live on its own website. This site provides town trails and links into that resource. Please keep artist and source attribution with any use that the relevant rights holder permits.

See something we should change?
A closed venue, a new website, a broken link or an access barrier: local knowledge makes this resource better. Send the page address and the correction to info@dundalktown.ie. Include a useful source or the business’s own contact details where possible.
Please send only photographs or material you are entitled to share for the site. Keep messages respectful and avoid including other people’s private information. The BID team can review listing updates and enquiries through the contact page.
