A full season in the town centre

An Táin Arts Centre announced 55 events for autumn and winter 2026, describing the September–December season as its biggest programme yet. A release carried by Dundalk Chamber sets out theatre, music, comedy, film, family events and visual arts.

The programme includes Kismet Theatre Company’s 2026/27 residency and Chronicles by Nicola Cassidy, a commission exploring C.S. Lewis’s County Louth connections, directed by Paul Hayes. The Basement Gallery’s free exhibitions include Bailiú, connected with Creative Spark’s residency programme.

Make the arts part of your evening

Our perspective & suggestions

Our suggestion: choose the performance first, then work backwards. Check the start time, allow room for a meal, and plan your journey home before the curtain goes up. A comedy night and a family matinee call for different kinds of day out.

Our events page brings listings from several local sources together, while the food and drink guide helps you explore nearby options without turning a cultural visit into a complicated itinerary. Final ticket details always sit with the venue.
